Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is a Nigerian and Nigerian-American economist who twice served as Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and later as Managing Director at the World Bank. In 2021 she became Director-General of the World Trade Organization, the first woman and first African to hold the role.
